From 18 December 1980 to 18 January 1981, 18 members of the Parisian collective FOUNDATION recorded their first opus: a cassette with 18 one-minute compositions, thrown into a clear plastic bag, accompanied by a double-sided printed puzzle and a metal badge. On each side of the reconstituted puzzle is printed the song list and the names of their songwriters. The letter Phi, mathematical symbol of the Golden and logo of the group, is reproduced on the bag, the badge and both sides the puzzle.
