First vinyl issue of these legendary and historic recordings made in late 1953 in New York City and self-released by Danny Barker on King Zulu Records as two 78rpm records just as shellac was going out and vinyl was coming in. Remaining copies languished in Danny and Blue Lu Barker's house in New Orleans and were lost to history in the floods of 2005.
