From the booklet: This musical text used for this recording is the Revised Messiaen Edition, of wchih the publishers were kind enough to lend a proof copy in advance of publication. There are a number of small but important differences between this new edition and the one already publisched, all of which are reflected in our recording.
Jean-Yves Thibaudet studied the piano part with Yvonne Loriot and Olivier Messiaen, and a number of details have been added or changed in the piano part.
