I Thought It Was A Fig was originally released on cassette in May 1991 on Incentive Recordings (INC-018). The track listing for the CD deliberately omits the introduction by Grant Lawrence and refers to it as either "The Story of Grant Lawrence" on the back or "My Mom Teaches Scottish Dancing" in the booklet. Both are listed as track 18 rather than the actual introduction on track 1.
