Circat Records is analog alchemy achieved; injected with jazz, a heaping helping of minimalism and a dash of dub. The resulting product spews forth from the audio alembic as Electronica, Deep House, and quite clearly a warm organic experimental harmonic structure. Its the brain child of composer Erich Lesovsky from Berlin, a man known for his realeases on Oliver Koletskis Stil vor Talent, Keno Records, and Parquet Music. A Circat release is crafted from unique musical collage culled from field recordings and vinyl experiments. On a visual level, a circat release's packaging is easiliy identifiable by a black and white monochrom reminiscent of darkroomexperiements, however in this case, the darkroom is that of a cat.
