Mastering engineer Emery has built up a steady catalog of quality drum & bass music with his brainchild Ambra Recordings. Hailing from Vilnius, Lithuania the label has been responsible for showcasing new talent as well as established artists. Next up on the label is the four track Stranger EP by Ukrainian producer I Wannabe.

The first track Another sets the tone majestically with reverberating stabs over straight forward, stripped back 2 step drum-rhythms. No mucking about on this one, strictly warm convincing sounds for the liquid-lovers among us. Next up we continue with the EP's title track where the orchestral intro, soulful vocal cuts and housey bassline come together as one for a feel-good frenzy. Guaranteed to get the ladies move their tailfeathers. The third cut Out Of This has a more broken beat approach revolving around ominous delayed piano licks and subtle mid bass movement. A perfect more abstract approach from the artist taking the EP into a more deeper direction. The downtempo breakdown is crisp. Last but not least 5 Minutes Older rounds things of on a lighter note with its uplifting piano chords, punchy drums and deep sub to rattle your system. We hope you enjoy the sounds!
