Chez Lester was originally screened on Leicester TV station, Cable 7 between 1994 and 1996.

There were 71 episodes made, and the programme starred many talented people from local bands and further afield. Some of the bands & musicians to contribute included Prolapse, Supereight/The Freed Unit, Po!, The Melons, Kevin Hewick, The Marmite Sisters, Kooky Monster and Slinky.
