PASSAGE IN BEAUTY was recorded and mixed between June 1990 and February 1991. Digital remastered in March 1991. CD premastering at Sonare, August 1991.
"Awaken in floating colours - compositions 1, 3, 4" are part of a commissioned work for VPRO Radio 4, April 1991.

Released in a 14.5 x 17.5 eight panel textured grey cardboard cover with original b/w photography on the front.

All photographs taken between December 1989 and March 1991.

This album was later regarded by the artist as the first part of a trilogy with Shadowing In Sorrow and Ending Mirage and subsequently also re-issued as The Trilogy.
